Awalker
Hello, I have a process for developers to follow when requesting elevated access, as part of this process it requires authorisation to which i have used the authorisation node, however today when a request was raised it was approved by an analyst (Graham) that was not in the authorises list within the process, can you confirm how this was possible and what i need to do to rectify this asap. Guest Ehsan
Hi @Awalker, Through the Admin Tool, could you please check if the following Application Setting enabled for the Service Manager app? Thanks, Ehsan
Awalker
@Ehsan, yes this was on, i have now switched this off, as assume that will resolve my issue?
Guest Ehsan
@Awalker Yep. The reason why Graham was able to authorise the Activity against the request is that he must be a member of a supporting team for the Service that the request is associated to. Disabling this Application Setting (as you have now) will prevent users from authorising Activities that is not assigned to them. Thanks, Ehsan
